John: Welcome to 3-Minute Swahili Season 1, Lesson 13 - Who Is It? In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask who it is in Swahili.
Body
John: Here's a way to ask "Who is it?" in Swahili.
Medina: [Normal] Ni nani?
John: First is a word meaning "is."
Medina: [Normal] Ni [Slow] Ni
John: Last is the word meaning "who."
Medina: [Normal] nani [Slow] nani
John: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the question meaning "Who is it?"
Medina: [Slow] Ni nani? [Normal] Ni nani?
John: Here's a way to ask, "Who is that?"
Medina: [Normal] Yule ni nani?
John: First is a word meaning "that (person)."
Medina: [Normal] Yule [Slow] Yule
John: Next is the word meaning "is."

John: Last is the word meaning "who."
