Michael: And welcome to Culture Class: Essential Swahili Vocabulary, Lesson 11! In this lesson you'll learn five essential words related to geography and nature. Michael: Lake Victoria and Lake Turkana are the two most significant lakes in Kenya. Lake Victoria is shared by three countries: Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. It is the second largest freshwater lake in the world and the main source of the River Nile. Lake Turkana is found in the northern part of Kenya.
