Maybe I will try Filipino instead of Malagassy. It belongs to the same family of languages (with both Indonesian and Malagassy), so it might be easier. I am planning a longer trip (with some field research) to East Africa and South East Asia, that's why I want to learn some local languages. More than just the basics, although I am sure that my reasearch will be done in English, French, maybe Dutch and Spanish (if there are still some elderly people in Indonesia and Philippines who speak these languages). Si I have registered for Filipino today.

Apart from Swahili I am interested in Indonesian, Malagassy and Shona. Unfortunately the last two are absent from your service. I am following your material in the first two of the languages mentioned. Thank you for them. When I am less busy and more free, I will take the premium version, now it would be a waste of time and money. The other languages I will have to look for elsewhere.
